Last week, BHS student Parker Anderson received the 20th Congressional District of California 2025 Merit Award, presented by Congressman Fong. In addition, he was invited to nominate a teacher for the Inspirational High School Educator Award. He chose BHS math teacher, Ms. Judy Dwyer. Congratulations to Parker and Ms. Dwyer -- we are proud of you!

The Child Nutrition department recently welcomed two guest chefs for a week of hands-on training at several of our elementary kitchens. Staff from Las Flores, Pierce, and Richmond Child Nutrition had numerous opportunities to learn about kitchen efficiency, flavor profiles, and new compliant scratch recipes. The students enjoyed seeing professional chefs in the kitchen and were excited to sample the new recipes during breakfast and lunch.
We received positive feedback from everyone to include these new recipes in our menus for the 2025-2026 school year!
