Referral Resources

As a school counseling professional, I am ethically obligated to understand the limitations of my ability to assist your children. When such situations present themselves, referrals to mental health services in the community is generally the next step. Below you will find a list of therapists, other mental health services, and additional services available in the area.

While I do not personally endorse any of the therapists in the following lists, I do encourage you to interview each of the professionals to gain a better understanding of their practice and procedures. Greater outcomes are generally achieved when there is a stronger client-therapist relationship. If you and your child do not connect with one of the therapists then please do find another one. Each therapist has their own unique approach. Additionally, if you are unable to find local therapists - there have been reports of long waiting lists - then there are online counseling services as well.

Lastly, please contact me if you prefer that I work in coordination with other service providers.
